How do I register on the Savoir-Relier platform?

To register on our website, kindly follow the steps below:

1. Go to this link: https://www.savoir-relier.com/register
2. Enter your email address
3. Check the box that says "I am following the MOOC on Coursera." if you are
4. Click "Register" button.

This will start your registration process and you will receive an email with a registration link in next few minutes (It can be redirected to your spam folder by your email service provider.) Go to the link mentioned in the email, fill in all the details and your registration process is complete. You can begin your Savoir-Relier experience now!

I am having trouble registering

To register on savoir-relier.com, you need to enter your email address here: https://www.savoir-relier.com/register An email is then sent to you with a link to a longer form. Once filled, you can sign in using the password you just set. If you see an error message stating “This value is already in use”, that means that you already started to register. You then need to go back to your email and complete the longer form.

I do not have a registering link to validate my email/account

I cannot sign in

This means that your registration is not complete yet! After you entered your email address on the site, an email was sent to you to complete the process. You need to click on the link in that email and fill the form. If you cannot find the email, please check your spams or start the whole process again with a different email address.

How do I sign in on the website? / I have lost my password

You can sign in to savoir-relier.com by clicking on the link in the top right corner of the website. If you have lost your password, you can recover it here: https://www.savoir-relier.com/password/recover

My peer is not answering

If your peer is not answering after 12 hours, you can ask for a new peer by going back to your “Experience” on Savoir-Relier then clicking on “Cancel my meeting”.

If you prefer, you can also ask someone you know or from the Facebook group to do a conversation (provided they have done their self-portrait).

There are frequently learners looking for conversation partners. The self-portrait is a prerequisite to do a conversation.

If you find your peer on your own, please go back to your Experience and validate your current meeting, indicating that you met your peer in person.

In both cases, please fill your feedback after validating the conversation on savoir-relier.com. It will be needed to move forward.

My code is not working

As stated in the FAQs we wrote in Coursera’s forums, there are three codes in use on the site

SRCONVERSATION@COURSERA (MOOC 1)
SP2@COURSERA (MOOC 2)
CONV2@COURSERA (MOOC 2)

If you need to access the second self-portrait, but the page is giving you an error, it means that you are still at the step before the first conversation. Perhaps you did not do the conversation yet, or you may have asked for a new peer after you completed the conversation. In this case… Sorry! But you need to do a new conversation to move on.

I want to change my self-portrait

You can update your self-portrait as long as you are not paired with a peer. To do so go back to previous steps (at the bottom of each page there is a link to go back).

If you are already paired with someone, it is too late to update your portrait.

However, you can still decide to edit it on your computer before you send it to your peer! Your peer will only be able to read what you send. In the second MOOC, you will be able to answer new question and write a new self-portrait!
